New resources to meet the national report of the state of the security council, INES, by the administration

The development of a new online course, as well as an annex to the guide 844 on data management of INES and updating of the guide 824 on this same tool, form a package with which the CCN-CERT intended to facilitate in every local government compliance with the national security.

In order to prepare the report of the state of security of the public administrations, as provided for in article 35 of the royal decree 3/2010 which regulates the National security , all public bodies have to fill in data relating to state its security, through INES (Opens in new window) (National Report of the state of The Security Council). They must send before 31 january 2017 the relevant information to the fava report, for the moment are more than 460 agencies need to be registered in the platform, available on the portal del CCN-CERT (Opens in new window) .

To fulfil that obligation and therefore, has developed a CCN-CERT online course on project INES (Opens in new window) available to all registered users in the above-mentioned web portal.

It has been updated Guide CCN-STIC 824 ENS. National Report of the state of The Security Council (Opens in new window) en aspects which must take into account an agency periodically to assess the state of security information systems for those who are owners and how to include this information in the national report of the spanish government. This Report is produced to observe the degree of compliance with the NHIS, the evolution of our country and the position of each organization regarding the national average.

Finally, the NCC has included a new annex (Opens in new window) in the Guide 844. User Manual of INES (Opens in new window) Thus, the set of questions and answers more common, there is a separate data management of INES aiming to facilitate the use of this tool.
