With the presentation of the Digital Agenda 2020 starts the week Digital, during which the agency for technological modernization de Galicia, AMTEGA, carried out four acts to address in detail the axes of this text and "make their content more accessible to all."
The new technology strategy of the board establishes actions to achieve an innovative digital Administration, promote advanced digital services in the field of wellness and health, and spur digitalación strategic business sectors. The head of the executive autonomic thanked the participation of Galician society and economic and social actors in the "process of joint reflection" that led to the Digital Agenda 2020. It also noted that this is the effort initiated in 2009 with the Digital Agenda 2014.gal Galicia, which has contributed to the development of electronic administration, which has struggled to reduce the digital divide, which has developed specific programs for the modernization of sectors such as agriculture, fishing and tourism and has contributed to reverse inequality in access to telecommunications services.

This will allow the deployment of networks ultra-rápidas so that 100% of the Galician population coverage of at least 30 megabytes; and that 50% of households have access to broadband services above 100 megabytes, always with the Horizon 2020.
It also emphasized that the digital strategy of the board allowed the birth of the project that made Abalar Galicia has been a pioneer in the implementation of digital book and the full integration of the TIC in educational practice.
