The current european electronic Administration 2011-2015 Plan is based in the malmö Ministerial declaration of 2009. It now needs a new Plan of action of E-government (eGovernment Action Plan) for the period 2016-2020 to complete the strategy of European Digital Single Market.
That is why the commission wants to identify initiatives that may be necessary to modernize the public authorities, ensure the interoperability of electronic public services between the various member states and facilitate easier interaction with citizens.
In this context, the european commission has opened a public consultation on the future new action Plan in which can involve all relevant stakeholders as citizens, companies, private organizations, national, regional and local organizations, scientific and research, etc.
