The next 24 october 2016, in the hall of the state secretariat for Social Services and equality (c/Alcalá 37, Madrid), will be held the day « ICT accessibility in public procurement of the public sector in europe: for a full inclusion of persons with disabilities », promoted by the forum of the Socially Responsible procurement (the forum with R) and the INAP.
Involves the ministries of health, social services and equality and industry, energy and tourism, the national centre of Accessibility (CENTAC), the Autonomous universities and politécnica de Madrid and the ONCE foundation.
ICT accessibility in public procurement can improve the lives of thousands of people with disabilities in spain and Europe. The objectives of this day are:
- Promote the use of social clauses on ICT accessibility in public procurement.
- Promoting the access of persons with disabilities to products and services tendered in the public sector related to ict.
Responsible is addressed to the public, private and civil society associations that aim to remove obstacles to the products and services to be accessible to persons with disabilities to promote the social justice and equality of opportunity.
I, as a novelty, the introduction of tools for the effective implementation of accessibility in the ICT strategic public purchase and socially responsible. It will be guided with theoretical and practical presentations by leading experts on the subject of the university, public and private sectors and disability sector.
