Consciente del papel impulsor que las Administraciones Públicas tienen en la introducción en la sociedad de las innovaciones tecnológicas, el Gobierno aprobó, en su Acuerdo de Consejo de Ministros de 29 de Abril de 2011, el “Plan de fomento para la incorporación del protocolo IPv6 en España”. Este plan tiene como objetivo potenciar los beneficios y oportunidades que para todos ofrece la evolución de las tecnologías de la información y de las comunicaciones, representada por el nuevo protocolo.
Under this plan, the ministry of finance and public administrations has entrusted the momentum of the incorporation of IPv6 in the field of public administrations, parallel to the actions that the ministry of industry, energy and tourism to promote the transition to the new protocol between citizens and businesses.
Among these initiatives momentum, and to accelerate the availability of services of electronic administration accessible in IPv6 provides, through the network SARA, a common service for access through IPv6 to E-government, which allows to connect the current applications designed for IPv4 with the Internet IPv6.

El Ministerio de Justicia actualiza sus principales portales web para ser accesibles en IPv6 utilizando los servicios comunes de Red SARA Unshade accordion
Its main integrates E-government services with the solution of Gateway IPv6 for public administrations that offers SARA Network, thus increasing the availability of public services online with the new Internet protocol.
The ministry of finance and public administrations (MINHAP), through the General direction of Administrative Modernisation, procedures and momentum of E-government, is developing different initiatives to promote the transition to IPv6 in public administrations, according to the role given in the “ Development Plan for the incorporation of the protocol IPv6 in Spain ”
Among these initiatives, and to accelerate the availability of services of electronic administration accessible in IPv6, is offering MINHAP, through the network SARA, a common Gateway IPv6 to access through IPv6 to E-government, which allows to connect the current applications designed for IPv4 with the Internet IPv6.
This service is based on the experience gained during the realization of the different pilots carried out to incorporate IPv6 in E-government services, such as the portal 060, as well as participation of MINHAP in the European project GEN6 for the deployment of IPv6 in digital services in the public sector.
With the integration of its services in the Gateway IPv6, including its website and electronic site the justice ministry becomes the first entity in making use of the solution, taking an important step to adapt to the Internet of the future, which IPv6 is an essential piece.
